The volume includes the papers presented at “The Trauma of Communism” conference organized by the Catholic University Partnership (CUP) in June 2021. The conference was held as a part of the CUP international research project “Faith and Freedom” initiated in 2019 by the Institute of Church History, International Institute for Ethics and Contemporary Issues, Faculty of Social Sciences of the Ukrainian
Catholic University and the Nanovic Institute for European Studies, University of Notre Dame.
